The old 1980s 'Jugglers' building at Tarragindi Scout Group (TSG) has received a much-needed makeover, thanks to generous funding from Brisbane City Council, and RetireAustralia - our neighbours at The Green Tarragindi Retirement Village. TSG extends heartfelt thanks to both for their commitment to our community.
The renovation included a new roof, asbestos removal, a full internal fitout, and a fresh coat of paint. Now reopened, the building has been affectionately renamed Baggy’s Burrow by the Scouts, in honour of John Baldock, known as Baggy in Scouting. We deeply appreciate Baggy’s incredible contribution to Scouting as a dedicated leader at TSG for over 30 years, and the positive impact he’s had on generations of young people.
Tarragindi Scout Group, celebrating 70 years in 2026, has been an active part of the local community since 1956, and we look forward to continuing that legacy in our newly refreshed space.
